About us
Work with wood is in our genes. My grandfather and great grandfather were carpenters. I therefore wanted to continue my family tradition. Work in the "industrial" branch of modern home design, where perfect smooth surface, polishing and varnishing are prioritized ceased to fulfill me after 20 years. And I felt the need to return to the roots, to nature and its perfect imperfections.
I found a new path in purely natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. "Ligna Authentica" was founded. A small company with the desire to create unique furniture for everyday needs. Furniture filled with nature’s energy, with all the wonderful perfect and imperfect elements, units and details created by nature. Original furnishings are nice to look at and to touch, to feel the one-of-a-kind energy, which will last for years.
